I notice so many beautifully rendered works of art (Wen-M, Gotta love his stuff) so today I issue a challenge: no prizes are awarded, just recognition and amazment of our Deviants. Strictly traditional rendering of a work.
Be it a character, scene, composition, it doesn't matter. Just to see how many people read my journals and to see IF an new trend may start.

Here is the guidelines:

1. Must Be a New and ORIGINAL piece. Fanart is ok but the work must not be of an existing piece, scene, or other previously rendered/published work.

2. Mediums can be only pen, pencil, marker, crayons, colored pencils, paint(Any sort), paper, chalk, or charcoal. The Whole entry MUST use these materials.(NO digital line art) If it is a paper cut design, glue is acceptable.(duh)

3. Progress uploads are acceptable as long as they are tagged as WIPs for the Traditional Art Challenge.

4. I cannot offer rewards but if you can message me with the link to your piece, Please do!

I see so many people who can come up with concepts sitting in a barroom and wonder if it is a lost talent.
